They do things differently.’ So, every student is preparing for NEET with the same syllabus and the same stack of books or question bank.  In fact, you can’t do anything different if you are preparing for NEET but yes you can prepare differently.

There is just one year left, you have to lock it or lose it hence, here are some tips and tricks you must follow in order to gain a good rank-

  • Draw up a strategy and know what the strategy should entail!. The secret in cracking such exams lies beyond the basic tips that everyone provide.

Ask yourself these questions-

What’s expected of me during NEET examination? What kind of questions that are asked? What is the difficulty level?

How are my competitors going to prepare for NEET? What kind of study material are they using?

Am I preparing the same way as my competitors are preparing or a little differently?

Will my existing strategy help me crack the exam or do I need to modify?

  • Do not repeatedly revise and mug the same thing again and again. It’ll fetch you nothing. You need in-depth knowledge of the concepts and ability to think and apply such concept and understanding in a meaningful manner. So try and understand more rather than mugging.
  • Practice makes a man perfect, abide by this golden rule and go on with your preparations. Practice gives you the ability to attain perfection in solving all kinds of questions that can be asked. With practice, the knowledge level increases, the test-taking ability improves and on top of that your confidence also improves.
  • It is very important to have accurate practice test/ mock test to give. The question bank should contain questions covering all of the NEET syllabus. You should avoid a question bank which has repetitive questions and the level of questions should be something that should be taken in consideration.
  • See where you are going wrong in the preparation/ solving question. Practice such types of questions more and make sure you remember them. Bookmark important questions so that you gain perfection in attempting a question having same or similar concept or trick.
  • Prioritize the Topics:Do this basis the previous years’ paper patterns

Keep the Perfect Balance: Balance out study and rest time proportionately to maintain good health and mental peace throughout

Adhere to the Timetable: Once you start deviating from the timetable, it gets difficult to catch up, so don’t let that happen. If required keep a buffer day every week, to complete whatever is left out

  • Keep your physical and mental health checked. They play a huge part in your performance. Keep sharing your problems with your family. They will always support you.

Strive for success like a drowning man would strive for air and you will achieve it.

All the best.
