IIT Delhi to conduct JEE Advanced 2020 on this date! Check exam schedule and important details here

JEE Advanced 2020: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has announced the examination dates of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Advanced 2020. As per the schedule released by IIT Delhi, JEE Advanced 2020 will be held on May 17.

Examination schedule:

The JEE (Advanced) 2020 for admission to various programs at IITs will be held as per the following schedule:

JEE Advanced 2019: Eligibility criteria

All the candidates must score qualifying score in JEE Main 2020 Paper 1 to be among the top 2,45,000 eligible for JEE Advanced 2020. For more details, candidates are advised to check the official website of JEE Advanced 2020.

How to apply for JEE Advanced 2020:

  • Log on to the official website, jeeadv.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on register for ‘JEE advanced’
  • Make your login account by entering basic details
  • Log-in using the registration number
  • Fill in the application form
  • Upload all the required documents and make payment
  • Click on submit

JEE Advanced 2019: Details

This year, The JEE (Advanced) examination was conducted only in the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode on May 27. Further, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee declared the JEE Advanced results 2019 on June 14.Out of the total 38,705 candidates who qualified/cleared the JEE Advanced 2019 exam, 5,356 were female candidates.

Joint Seat Allocation: Process

The seats across IITs, NITs, IIITs and other Govt. Funded Technical Institutes (GFTIs) will be allocated by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA). All the candidates who are eligible for admission will have to participate in the joint seat allocation process by filling in their choices of the courses. The detailed instructions for filling-in the choices and the seat allotment procedure will be made available by JoSAA through Seat Allotment Brochure.
