NTA Declared JEE Mains Percentile Scores Ahead of Schedule
NTA has released JEE Mains January attempt results are declared within record time of 12 days ahead of the expected schedule. This has not changed the expected trend of JEE success from CONCEPTREEians. The JEE Main Result 2019 has been declared at the official website at www.jeemain.nic.in
HRD minister made the announcement through twitter saying that
“The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main Results 2019 ranks will be declared in April after the examinations”
He also congratulated the students who cracked the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) and the National Testing Agency for declaring the results ahead of the schedule.
The JEE Main Examination was taken by nearly 8.75 lakh students. A total number of 9,29,198 candidates registered for Paper –I (B.E. /B. Tech.) in this examination.
In 2019, 15 candidates who took the JEE Main exam have scored 100 percentile, out of which three students are from Maharashtra. The NTA has also released state-wise toppers’ list.
What is Percentile Score in JEE Mains Results
As the ranks are going to be declared only after Phase-2 of the examination, now the candidates have been given the percentile scores.
Percentile score indicates position of the candidate in the overall base.
Percentile = 100 * Number of students scoring less than or equal to your score/ total number of students
Higher the percentile, greater is the position.
This method of representation is different from the normal ranking system that students are used to.

CONCEPTREE Learning students scored top results in JEE Mains 2019. Talking to reporters on this occasion, Mrs Sumathy (Academic Officer at T Nagar Division) said
“We had students clearing this first attempt with ease. Results were very satisfactory as both our repeater batch students and regular 12th students showed commendable performance”
As per the reports released by the Institution Academics Team on official website more than 50 percent of the students have come in the top 25 percentile which could be the expected JEE Mains cut-off. However, since this year phase-2 is still to be taken by students, no talk of cut-off marks is validated by officials.
