    Eligibility

    Students studying in Class 10 (CBSE/ State Board/ ICSE) or other equivalent boards

    Test Modes

    Students opting for offline (at a branch) would have to take up the test at available branches at the provided time slots -13th February to 28th February.

    Please carry the admit card / proof of registration during your visit to branch/designated test center.

    Students opting for online mode would receive a link for registering on CONCEPTREE Digital for the Test prior to the examination date.

    Examination Timings: Tests slots will open from morning 9 AM 13th February and closes at evening 6 PM on 28th February. Students can login as per their convenience and take the test.

    On the examination date, students can login to the CONCEPTREE Digital from anywhere and take the test.

    Section A (Memory Based)50 questions on 9th and 10th level Biology, Physics and Chemistry( +2 marks for each correct answer, no negative marking)
    Section B (Comprehension Based)40 questions on 9th and 10th level Biology, Physics and Chemistry( +4 marks for each correct answer, -1 negative marking for wrong answer)
    Section C (Medical Inclination)10 questions. Most suitable response would have +1 marks, no negative marking

    Section A (Knowledge)20 questions based on Maths, physics and chemistry at 9th and 10th grade level. +2 marks for every correct answer. No negative marking
    Section B (Application)20 questions based on Maths, physics and chemistry at 9th and 10th grade level. +4 marks for every correct answer. -1 negative marking for wrong answer
    Section C (Aptitude Skills)20 questions on general aptitude. +2 marks for every correct answer. No negative marking
    Section D (Inclination towards Engineering)10 MCQs. +1 for suitable response. No negative marking.

    Broad Indicator for Readiness

    A score of 50 percent or more is considered as broad indicator for the readiness. If you are in the border line, we recommend you to schedule a counselling with our academicians.

    Do we have to pay anything for this?

    This test is absolutely FREE of cost.

    Can I take both JEE and NEET?

    Yes. But you have to plan for the time slots accordingly.

    If this test says, I am not ready to prepare for JEE, does it mean that i need to drop the idea totally?

    Need not be, this test would provide insight on how ready you are currently. This is to help you take better decisions or understand the process involved in getting to certain examinations like JEE/NEET

    Isn't it discouraging to some students in the beginning itself?

    Not really, this would only indicate how much better suited someone is for these examinations. Those who are more favored need not become complacent and those who are not, should not get discouraged. We need to keep in mind that the journey of two years is yet to begin!!

    Am i going to get some scholarships based on this test?

    Litmus Test results are taken up for scholarships by some institutes in Tamilnadu including of course CONCEPTREE. But the main idea of the test is not for awarding scholarships etc.,

    Is it going to be advantageous to some Board students?

    Not really. We tried to prepare the syllabus based on maximum coherence.

    I am from IGCSE syllabus. Can I take part in this?

    Yes. You can very much be a part of this. There may be some syllabus discrepancies. But still it would give you an idea of progress on the coherent parts of the syllabus.
