The Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) has announced the exam date for UCEED 2019. The Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination (UCEED) will be conducted on January 19, 2019. Candidates aspiring for a future in B.Des can apply for the examination to seek admission in IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, and IIT Jabalpur.
UCEED is a national level entrance exam, the registration of which will begin from October 09, 2018. To register for the exam, the candidate should have passed class 12th ( or equivalent ) in 2018. Those who will be appearing for their Class 12th exam in the year 2019 are also eligible to apply for UCEED 2019.
To submit the UCEED 2019 Application Form, the aspirants need to pay a requisite amount of the application fee. The application fee for UCEED is payable by Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.
All the candidates who will successfully apply for the examination will be issued with an admit card. The registered candidates will be able from January 01, 2019, on wards.
UCEED 2019 is a computer-based test conducted in a single session. The time duration allotted to the candidates will be 3 hours in which a total of 300 questions are to be solved. Mode of paper for all candidates taking UCEED 2019 is English only. There will be three section in UCEED namely Numerical answer type (NAT) with a total number of 20 question, Multiple choices question (MCQ) with a total number of 25 questions, Multiple select questions (MSQ) with a total number of 40 questions. There will a negative marking of -1 for every incorrect answer and 3 marks will be awarded for every correct answer.
UCEED 2019 results will be declared on 01 March 2019. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the answers marked. The UCEED result will be made available online on the official website for candidates to check and download.
